This work interprets two local Japanese landscapes (Itoshima and Tokushima) where nature grows in defiance of manmade systems (ie: architecture, rice fields, ...). This defiance is paralleled by amorphous ink markings that organically grow, ebb, and flow (sometimes uncontrollably) on handmade washi papers.
